Central Austin, Remodel-Addition
This was a gut remodel with an addition towards the front and back creating porches for outdoor living. We converted the attached garage into a spacious living room and opened up the walls to create an open-concept living-kitchen-dining. This also allowed us to add another bedroom and an ensuite bathroom for the main bedroom. We also added a he-shed building in the backyard, with a loft-space to create an away-office, game room, and hang-out space. The new kitchen is simply amazing! Some of my favorite features in this project are the banquette dining, the day bed in the living room, and the custom-made shoji-panel multi-slide doors.
We upgraded this 1100 sf. home from a 2 bedroom/1 bath to a 1600 sf. 3/2 plus he-shed.
